Leather Care

A little regular care helps leather keep its character for longer.

Everyday care

  • Wipe away dust with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
  • Keep the item away from prolonged direct sunlight, heat, humidity, and rain.
  • Avoid contact with perfume, cosmetics, oils, ink, and abrasive surfaces.
  • Do not overfill bags or wallets, as this can stretch the leather and hardware.

If it gets wet

Blot gently with a soft cloth and allow the item to air-dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use a hair dryer, radiator, or other direct heat.

Conditioning

Use only a leather product suitable for the specific finish. Always test a small hidden area first and follow the product instructions. Saffiano and coated finishes may require different care from untreated leather.

Storage

Empty the item, lightly support its shape with clean tissue, and store it upright in a breathable dust bag. Avoid plastic bags and do not place heavy objects on top.

For a difficult stain or valuable item, consult a professional leather-care specialist.
